14th bday party overwhelming? HELPPP!!!!!?

too much chaos, and most of all $$. we’re are not wealthy. but we can still afford some luxeries once in a whillee… like going to the movies, eating popcorn, and sometimes, once in a while for really special occasions like my birthday, we even get to go bowling.

so i have had bday parties when i was 1,2,3, 5, 7,and 9, and 10 and 11. i am now 14. so i decided to finally do something nice, because i missed my 13th.

so i tell my parents i want a party. they say okay. so my mom tells me to buy whatever i want, and not to look at the prices because she feels guilty. so i say fine. i buy a whole bunch of stuff in every store i go to and this is the pricing.

btw 10 girls are coming!!
grocery shopping: 2.08– wth? how did that happen? we bought milk, eggs, doughnuts, bagels, creamcheese, and icecream, and frozen pizza. oh and candy and chips. we already have bread, peanutbutter, and jelly at home.

entertainment:
a movie- .99
a rented kariokie machine-

fun:
got my hair done- including tip!!! so expensive…. but really nice treatment.
got my nails done- and 2 dollar tip.
got nailpolish for the party- (got 7 shades)

how expensive? we’re keeping them for an entire 24 hours. i have no idea what to do.

so kariokie, painting our nails, what else? oh yeah, we’re taking a walk. we have music so maybe a little dancing.

and the movie i rented. ugh this is so annoying and overwhelming help!!! what can i do for cheap or low money???!?!?!

I REALLY REALLY need help planning my birthday party! What should we (the other 10 girls coming) do? Its a sleepover and we are going to get pizza and I am buying a cotton candy machine but what else? Should we go somewhere? Is it cool to have a party just at your house? HELLLPPPPP!!! PLEASE!!!! My birthday is August 3rd so please help quikly!!! CANDY!! SLEEPOVER!!!! POPCORN, MOVIE, COTTON CANDY, DANCING, GAMES (WHAT GAMES???????), MUSIC……..(and thats where I blank out, what else to do?!?!?!?)

Jonas Brothers/Camp Rock birthday party?

Ok! So my little sister, (turning 11) is having a Jonas brothers/Camp Rock birthday party. We really need ideas for the birthday party. We have the Disney Sing it Wii game, a "Guess that Jonas Brothers song" game that I made by burning some of their songs on one CD, and the girls split up in teams and the first one to guess the Jonas Brother’s song wins.
But that is all. We really need ideas. We do not have a kareoke machine, and we can’t buy one right now with the "economy" and stuff. We are also going to watch Camp Rock and High School Musical 3 at night with popcorn, ice cream, and candy.
But can you guys please help me, even if you don’t like the Jonas Brothers?
Please, do it for my sister. :( I really want her birthday to be special.

Hey!
I’m having my sweet 16 in early september and i don’t know what to do for it! So far I have 2 decent ideas:
1.) Think "drive in movie". I would get a huge movie screen and put it in my backyard with quilts on the grass and play 1-2 movies on the big screen. I would get pizza and have an old fashioned popcorn/cotton candy machine. I would also have baskets with movie candy in them on each quilt. I would be able to invite 40-50 people(boys&girls) for this party.
2.) My second idea is a day on the town(in Boston). I would pick 6 of my closest friends(a little hard to do) and take a limo downtown(about 20 mins.) and get mani/pedis for all girls. Then we’d go out to lunch and shop the whole day in Boston on Newberry St. This can only be around 6 *girls* though.
—I love both ideas! If you were my age (going to be a junior in H.S.) which would you rather attend? Please let me know which is better & if you have any other ideas(try to keep them inexpensive!)Thanks so much!-Isabella
