Want to buy a popcorn maker that will work for rice? Where can I buy a home appliance that will do the job? Do you know the names of any brands/models etc?

for christmas my dad bought my sister this really cool popcorn maker machine.

we only use it a couple of times, so it doesn’t taste the best.

My dad just bought a big popcorn maker, cotton candy machine, and snow cone maker. we are going camping this weekend and decided that we’re gonna bring all this stuff with us, make popcorn, snow cones, and cotton candy and give it away to people. No charge, just doing something nice. but we also can use this stuff in our game and theatre room. do you think this is a waste of time and money or just a win win situation?

Nothing against items made from china. I was looking at a popcorn maker with painted metal (old fashioned) and noticed it was made in China. I found myself wondering if it contained lead and decided not to buy.

Anyone starting to do this?

Alright, I’m looking for a popcorn maker for home. I want it to look kinda old fashioned like the one in this picture: http://nostalgiaelectrics.com/default.asp?c=4&p=296 and it needs to follow these:
- Must be old fashioned
- Must be larger than the one in the picture, but still somewhat table top
- Must not be too expensive
- Must only pop regular popcorn, not kettle corn!
