Okay, so my girlfriend wants a popcorn popper for her birthday. We have been together on and mostly off for a little over a year now and she wants a popcorn popper for her birthday. Money is not a problem when it comes to buying presents, I just don’t know what would be a better choice.

The two choices I have are either a PRESTO Orville Redenbacher Air Popper or a Paramount Entertainment Movie-Theater Style 6oz popper.

Remember, I am going for taste. Price doesn’t matter.

We bought a Frigidaire refrigerator with top freezer last year and it made loud popping sounds right from the start. My husband called Frigidaire within 3 days of purchase and asked them about the noise and they told him it was normal with those refrigerators. It had been 20 years since we bought a new refrigerator so he took their word for it. The noise got worse so he called again this year and this time he was more demanding that they do something, so they said as a "courtesy" they would arrange a service call through Best Buy, where we purchased it. Yeah, I know, this is bad – working with Frigidaire AND the Geek Squad. = ( After the Geek Squad came out the first time, the freezer started acting up. Now, it will only freeze certain items but not things like ice cream, fruit or bread, and ice cubes are always sweaty, not frozen solid like they were. Geek Squad’s been out here now about 4 times and they keep saying there’s nothing they can do. We are stuck with the noise, which varies from sounding like a popcorn popper to a car backfiring or as my husband describes it, a machine gun. Plus, we can no longer freeze certain items. It seems to freeze items like chicken or vegetable okay. Now, my question is what do we do? Should we file a small claims against Frigidaire or complain to Best Buy? Just wondering what others thought.
Also, does anyone know why it would only freeze certain items but not others? Thanks in advance for your answer.

the expiry date on my popcorn is mar.06 2010. the seeds come flying out of the popcorn popper along with the popped corn. I thought it was my machine so I bought a new one. Same thing. I get about a quarter of popcorn from one batch. what is wrong
